Remarks: 
KT p. 286: In some memoranda ceruse, i.e., white lead either alone or mixed with chalk, is given instead of white lead. Whenever he primed Beale used the same mixture, substituting in one instance burnt yellow ochre for red ochre. (Beale 1681, f. 52v.)
