He takes glew and boyles it with as much water as being cold it makes a weake size. Wth this being warme he layes over a bord, wch dry, he covers over againe with Spanish white, well bound. Which being dry he scrapes with [reeds] or rushes used by joyners some water plaine is with a wet cloth washing off all the [..e.ene..e] At last being thoroughly dry the primes it over with a primer of ceruse of a [gr...] a pound finely ground with a little coale black and very little red lead for to dry it, This primer he comends above others, but for boards and cloth.
