How to white yor boards before you prime them.,After yor boards being made of waynscote, or .ake be well plained, you must take strong size, & warm it on yr fire, and put into it as much whitening, as will make it reasonable thicke like pappe, & while it is warme you must lay it on thicke with a soft brush, and when it is dry you must scrape it [even?] as .... you can wth a knife and if any of the board appears you must lay it over again wth whiting as aforesd. Note that it will be better if you lay your whiting twice over but it must be dry after the first laying before you lay it over the second time.
